-   beta-bridge.simplefin.org

This is what the add-on asks for. The reason next to each one is the author's own words, not ours. You'll see this same list when you install it, and you can say no then.

-   Account management List Wealthfolio accounts to map against, and create new ones on request.
-   Transaction history Import cash transactions fetched from SimpleFIN, and reconcile credit-card payments and cash-to-cash transfers into linked transfers.
-   Network access Fetch accounts, transactions and holdings from the SimpleFIN Bridge.
-   Portfolio data Recalculate a CASH account's balance after backfilling its full history, so the opening-balance gap against SimpleFIN can be measured accurately.
-   Secrets management Store the SimpleFIN access credentials in the system keyring, and let the host attach them to brokered SimpleFIN Bridge requests without exposing the plaintext to the addon.
-   Snapshot management Import holdings snapshots for investment accounts.

## Installing it

    Download the latest release from [christancho/simplefin-wealthfolio-addon](https://github.com/christancho/simplefin-wealthfolio-addon/releases).

    In Wealthfolio, open `Settings → Addons` and choose `Install from File`.

    Check the permissions Wealthfolio shows you, and approve them there.
    

These don't update themselves. When there's a new version, download it and install it again.
