## How to connect DEGIRO

Connection method: Sign in through SnapTrade. Follow the steps below to add the account.

1.  Choose DEGIRO in Wealthfolio Connect and open SnapTrade's secure connection window.
    
2.  Read the terms and check that the browser is on SnapTrade's website.
    
3.  Enter your DEGIRO sign-in details there and complete any verification requested by DEGIRO.
    
4.  Return to Wealthfolio after the connection finishes and review your accounts.

## Your account stays under your control

### Read-only access

The connection can retrieve account data. It cannot place trades or move money.

### Your sign-in

SnapTrade encrypts the DEGIRO sign-in details it stores to keep the connection working. Wealthfolio never receives or stores them.

### Your Wealthfolio data

Supported account data is passed to Wealthfolio on your device. Wealthfolio does not persistently store your holdings, balances, or activities on its servers.

## Good to know about this connection

-   OAuth is not available for this connection, so you sign in through SnapTrade. Changes to DEGIRO's sign-in or verification process may occasionally require you to reconnect.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why do I enter my DEGIRO sign-in details through SnapTrade?

OAuth is not available for this connection. Sign in only in SnapTrade's secure connection window, and check that your browser is on SnapTrade's website before entering your details.

### Why might I need to reconnect DEGIRO?

A change to DEGIRO's sign-in or verification process can interrupt the connection. Reconnecting restores future updates when this happens.

### How much DEGIRO activity can Wealthfolio sync?

Available account activity can go back to when you opened the account.
