How to connect Trading 212
Connection method: Use a read-only Trading 212 API key. Follow the steps below to add the account.

Choose Trading 212 in Wealthfolio Connect and open SnapTrade's secure connection window.

Create a Trading 212 API key with Account data, Metadata, History, History - Orders, and Portfolio permissions. Leave Orders - Execute off for this read-only connection.

Enter the API key in SnapTrade's secure connection window; do not share it on this website.

Finish the connection and return to Wealthfolio. The first update can take several minutes, and Trading 212 may send you a notification about a CSV export.
Your account stays under your control
Read-only access
The connection can retrieve account data. It cannot place trades or move money.
Your sign-in
Your Trading 212 API key is provided to SnapTrade, not Wealthfolio. SnapTrade encrypts the key it stores to keep the connection working.
Your Wealthfolio data
Supported account data is passed to Wealthfolio on your device. Wealthfolio does not persistently store your holdings, balances, or activities on its servers.
Good to know about this connection
- For some orders placed by amount rather than number of shares, an exact quantity may be unavailable. SnapTrade can estimate it when the currencies match; otherwise the activity may arrive without a quantity.
- The available-to-trade balance may appear as the same amount as cash.

An exact quantity may be unavailable for an order placed by amount. SnapTrade can estimate it when the currencies match. Otherwise, Wealthfolio may receive the activity without a quantity and mark it for review.
